The Bridge-Building Exercise

  1. Create a new email.

  2. Copy and paste this list inside it.

  3. Next to each, type 3 words that come to mind.

  • Trust

  • Finances

  • Success

  • Teamwork

  • Commitment

This is cheating a little bit but I’m going to show you my list before step 4.

  • Trust: Fragile, Integrity, Transparency

  • Finances: Misconceptions, Security, Freedom

  • Success: Impact, Sailboat, Fulfillment

  • Teamwork: Collaboration, Effort, Synergy

  • Commitment: Dedication, Loyalty, Difficulty

  1. Compare your list to my list. What’s the same? What’s different? Are we speaking the same language?

  2. Put [email protected] in the send-to box and share your response and feedback with me.
